I checked your account and I can confirm that you were not charged for this cancelled trip request. The amount of $4.71 appearing on your bank notification/statement relates to a pre-trip authorization hold, it was already voided on November 24, 2017 at 10:34am EST.

When a trip is requested, Uber may place an authorization hold on your payment method, which usually appears as "pending" or "authorized" on the statement for the payment method. Authorization holds are voided by Uber within hours of being made, and will disappear from your payment method within a few business days, depending on your bank or credit card company's policy.

Share Details: I WOULD LIKE A REFUND! I called the driver 4 times because she drove right pass me as I was standing outside. After walking back and forth I could no longer find her car and she cancelled my ride. I was charged for a ride that I did not take.
